I made a veggie half for the grown-ups, and ham half for the kids. I figured I could sneak in some butternut squash purée onto the kids' side.
My son didn't complain, and the grown-up side was definitely yummy (artichokes, roasted red peppers, and sundried tomatoes with a pesto base). I don't think I fooled my daughter, though.
"Mommy, what's that orange stuff?"
"That's just the pizza sauce mixed with the cheese. It makes it orange. Shush and eat your pizza."
